Zebra Coalition

Our involvement with the Zebra Coalition goes back to its beginning. As a founding board member, Appleton’s CEO, Diana LaRue, helped advance the LGBTQ+ organization and its brand from the ground up. Since then, we have developed the website and marketing collateral for Zebra Coalition, in addition to creating anti-bullying campaigns for the Orange County Public School System as well as event collateral for Zebra’s 5K events. We also hosted a Pulse memorial exhibit in the Appleton Awareness Gallery to raise funds for Zebra Coalition as it was assisting those in need during this time of crisis.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando & Osceola County Women Build

Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization whose vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Part of its efforts include the Women Build Day event, where women from all over the community come together to build affordable housing for another woman in need. Appleton heavily promotes this initiative, developing collateral and videos and participating in the event every year.

Knowledge Sharing

Appleton facilitates art classes at Camp Tequesta, the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida’s annual four-day camp for young burn survivors. Using a variety of art mediums tailored to each child’s physical abilities, we create opportunities for expression, healing, and confidence-building, while supporting the foundation’s mission to empower children and families on their journey of recovery.
