Community - Good Apples by Appleton Creative

We work here. We play here. We live here. Our Orlando community is important to us, and we believe in giving back and nourishing it to help it flourish.

Appleton Awareness Gallery

Appleton designed the Appleton Awareness Gallery within our offices as a way to bring attention to local causes through art. Each exhibit showcases a body of work inspired by a specific cause in need. We believe that art should be enjoyed and appreciated, and we hope that the meaning behind the art will create an increased awareness for our community’s needs.

Giving Tree

Upon entering the “Why I Love Orlando” contest with a team of community thought leaders, Appleton was awarded a grant to bring our winning Giving Tree concept to life. With help from the City of Orlando, commissioner Patty Sheehan and local sponsors, we hosted the inaugural Giving Tree event in Lake Eola Park, and had since used the events to highlight local causes, such as Foundation for Foster Children and Kids Beating Cancer.

Victory Cup Initiative

The Victory Cup Initiative, deemed the ultimate goodwill event in Central Florida, aims to help local nonprofits by giving them the tools and training they need to tell their powerful stories. After their training, the organizations present at an event hosted by Rollins College with a room filled with philanthropists who vote to see which nonprofits will win grand prizes, while the remaining nonprofits receive $1,000. Since the organization’s inception in 2016, Appleton has played an integral role in shaping it from the beginning, acting as its main branding and marketing support, in addition to Appleton’s CEO, Diana LaRue’s involvement as a founding board member.
