Honoring Educators on the Ice: Orlando Solar Bears Teacher Appreciation Week

Do you know a teacher who makes a difference? Here’s your chance to thank your favorite educator by nominating in the Orlando Solar Bears Teacher Appreciation contest. To vote go to the Solar Bears website and share how your teacher has made an impact. Winners will receive free tickets and a special recognition during the game.

We invite you to bring your friends and family to the Teacher Appreciation games on February 7^th at 7 p.m. and February 8^th at 7 p.m. against the Florida Everglades at Amway Center. It’s the perfect opportunity to thank our local educators and acknowledge the crucial role teachers play in making sure each student receives a quality education.

In preparation of the event, Appleton’s video department hit the rink to interview several of the Solar Bears players, local teachers, and students for :10 “Thank You” clips during the appreciation games. In the next three weeks, look out for all of our promotional materials including graphics for an e-blast, print and banner ads, posters, flyers, post cards, and billboards.
