Today’s Special: Darden’s Delectable Gift Cards

As a top 100 company ranked on the New York Stock Exchange, Darden Restaurants is the organization behind your favorite restaurants. In fact, Darden owns and manages eight beloved restaurant chains, Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52, Yard House, The Capital Grille, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.

The recent acquisition of Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen meant Darden needed to rebrand its gift card line. With the focus remaining on the top six restaurant brands — Olive Garden, Yardhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Seasons 52, Bahama Breeze and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen — we went to work creating an updated gift card design.

Darden’s diverse selection of cuisines presented us with a unique challenge when it came to creating a design that would accommodate all brands under its umbrella. The gift card design we created displays all six brands separated by background colors and graphics that reflect the restaurants’ brands. They enjoyed our design so much that they ordered a prize wheel container. These gift cards are currently available through online platforms and in-stores to give consumers the simplest path to the product.

Just as Darden understands the importance of perfection in its dishes, we know that excellence lies in the details of our design. And we’ve got even more projects on the grill. Currently we’re cooking up several designs for upcoming holidays, to appeal to a wide range of consumers during the seasons.
