Newest Appleton Awareness Gallery Exhibits Portraits of Furry Animals to Benefit Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando

When visitors enter the front door of our historic Downtown Orlando home, they’re greeted with a beautiful gallery filled with paintings, pictures and depictions of adorable cats and dogs. Each year, Appleton Creative hosts compelling gallery exhibits in an effort to bring attention and awareness to charitable causes in the Orlando community. Our latest Appleton Awareness Gallery exhibit, Finding Furever Homes, pays tribute to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, formerly the SPCA of Central Florida, one of Florida’s oldest and largest animal welfare agencies.

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando provides compassionate and knowledgeable services for pets and people in Central Florida. By providing innovative animal care, veterinary medicine, disaster response efforts and shelter for pets in need, Pet Alliance helps thousands of animals in our community each year.

For the current exhibit, Appletonians put their artistic skills to work by painting, drawing and designing original pieces of artwork inspired by their own rescued pets. The centerpiece of the gallery, The Giving Circle™, features images of individual animals that come together to form a unified work of art. It is a symbolic representation of the hope and optimism each animal feels when given a second chance from Pet Alliance. Together, the exhibit presents strong visuals that highlight the plight of homeless pets and their inspirational rescue stories. The goal of the gallery is to work with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to inform the community about Central Florida’s adoptable animals by promoting happy, healthy pets and their forever homes. Each piece is displayed prominently in the Appleton Awareness Gallery and is available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.

The Appleton Awareness Gallery is located on the bottom floor of our office as a way to artistically promote local causes. The art is recognized and appreciated by many, in hopes they will see the meaning behind the art and help make a difference. With the help of charitable donations from the Central Florida community, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando helps and heals 45,000 animals through the clinic and shelters more than 10,000 dogs and cats each year.
