A Paws-itively Wonderful Time at Appleton

We’re in the dog days of summer and last Friday, August 4th, was no exception. Macbeth Studio took over our office space from 1 – 6 p.m. for its annual Dog Days Pet Portraits, and we paws-itively had a blast. In fact, Macbeth Studio’s Dog Days have proven so popular that we opened a second room for even more pet photography. And this year, the dogs were treated to special goodies, courtesy of Rick’s Dog Deli, which provided natural chicken and beef snacks for the event.

Having partnered with Macbeth Studio for several years, including three years with this project, we see this particular event as a highlight of the year. Not only is it a lot of fun, the proceeds go toward benefiting Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and this year the event brought in more than $2,000. As one of the largest nonprofit animal welfare organizations in Florida, Pet Alliance provides shelter, food and enrichment to animals until they find a forever home. To bring greater awareness to this cause, we worked with Pet Alliance to create an exhibit, Finding Furever Homes, in our Appleton Awareness Gallery, in addition to developing a full-scale advertising campaign for the organization.
