ATHENAPowerLink is a program of ATHENA International, an organization dedicated to creating leadership opportunities for women. ATHENAPowerLink guides women business owners in defining and achieving tangible goals by providing them with access to a panel of business advisors.

The ATHENAPowerLink Orlando chapter needed a new, modern website to boast its mission and encourage local women to apply for the program. As a woman-owned Orlando advertising agency with President/CEO Diana LaRue on the ATHENAPowerLink Governing Board, Appleton wanted to help the organization create a website that would attract more businesswomen and promote the program’s impact.

athenaorlando.com now exhibits a contemporary look that appeals to its wide range of viewers. The homepage also features a video rotator and visually appealing sections that organize and showcase ATHENA’s program, mission and the alumni that have succeeded through it. Created in WordPress, a content management system, ATHENAPowerLink managers can easily make text and image changes with their own login and dashboard as new clients join and the program evolves.
