Zebra Coalition is beginning 2017 on a high note. This year brings Zebra Coalition a revamped, modern website to support the organization’s objectives in the Orlando LGBT+ community.

Zebra Coalition is an LGBT+ resource in Orlando, providing services to youth who are often at risk of abuse, homelessness and isolation, and its website offers resources and programs for these young people. With the recent Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Orlando, Zebra Coalition knew its services and programs were needed more than ever, and a clean, organized website would give Orlando’s LGBT+ community access to the resources they seek. With Appleton’s help, Zebra Coalition can now better communicate with its audience and demonstrate the wide ranges of services offered by the Central Florida nonprofit organization.

Appleton provided a custom website design complete with a homepage animation featuring a colorful Orlando skyline. Intriguing graphics are included throughout the site, along with eye-catching collages containing a dozen photos from Come Out With Pride Orlando. Each page was created with simplicity, organization and information in mind. A central feature is the LGBT+ educational resources page offering pop-ups that highlight various LGBT+ flags and a glossary to help people better understand this community. The responsive, mobile-friendly website ensures Zebra Coalition can reach its audience, with over 90% of youth visitors viewing it on mobile devices.
