Women of Distinction: Celebrating 15 Years of Women Leaders and 100 Years of Leadership

Diana LaRue and Kassi McPhee of Appleton Creative attended the Women of Distinction’s 15th Annual Awards & Centennial Gala organized by and benefitting the Girl Scouts of Citrus. The weekend’s event paid tribute to women leaders who have made extraordinary contributions in their civic and professional communities.

The event, which was emceed by Local 6 anchor Lauren Rowe,  included a keynote address from Charlie Blackwell-Thompson. Charlie heads the division that is responsible for the flight hardware processing operations at Kennedy Space Center.

Congratulations to all the Women of Distinction winners and to the Girl Scouts of Citrus on their 100 years of leading our youth, and their ongoing dedication to the nearly 16,000 girls they serve in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.
