Life is a “Long Distance Love” Highway — Country Music Video

TBS Factoring Service provides cash flow solutions for our nation’s independent truckers. In business since 1968, TBS provides a full compliment of services including compliance, insurance and factoring – everything professional drivers need to stay on the road. Three years ago, TBS also launched the Truck Boss Show a popular channel on Facebook and YouTube where you can learn about all things truckin’. They create videos for truckers and bring original content they can watch on the road. With thousands of subscribers and over 700,000 views, the Truck Boss Show uses vlogging to reveal the latest news, create product reviews for equipment and accessories, events, exercise tips and more for those on 18 wheels.

This year, our team had the opportunity to work for a music video sponsored by TBS with all-American country musician and independent artist Tony Justice. The music video for “Long Distance Love,” a duet also featuring three-time Golden Guitar nominee and rock performer Jayne Denham, was produced by Genie Woods of TBS and shot, directed and edited by our director of videography, Mike Speltz and our Appleton video team.

The music video, currently reaching over 50,000 views, is about a dedicated truck driver who’s always on the road and longs to go home to see his love again. Shooting the music video during COVID-19 was no simple task, but we were in it for the long-haul to get the job done. With hard work and devotion, and for the love of country, everyone was able to make it work successfully, both near and far, while staying safe. Tony’s truck scenes were shot in the heart of downtown Orlando and right outside of our Appleton house, while Jayne shot her scenes in Australia. With some creative support, we were able to take the wheel and combine all we had, including making it rain on command with a customized water system. The result is a cohesive country-loving music video for many to cherish and truckers to relate to.

Tony Justice is not only an extremely talented musician, but a full-time trucker and supporter of TBS, every trucker’s “one stop shop.”
