Lawton Printers Celebrates 112 Years on 12/12/12

There are not many businesses in Central Florida that can say they’ve been in operation for over a century. Lawton Printers is one of the oldest family-owned and operated printers in the USA, and this year marks their 112^th anniversary of family printing tradition. To celebrate, fifth-generation owner, Kimberly Lawton Koon hosted a party at Lawton’s new location in Orlando on 12/12/12.  Appleton Creative’s President, Diana LaRue, and VP of Marketing and Client Relations, Amy Wise, attended the celebration which included catered food from Dubsdread, signature mint julep cocktails, beer from Orlando Brewery, tours of Lawton Printer’s Family Print Museum, and attendee gifts including Lawton printed Orlando posters and coasters.
