Harvey Massey – A True Golden Eagle

Each year, Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council holds the Metro Orlando Golden Eagle Dinner. This annual fundraising event recognizes influential leaders that have set positive examples in both their industry and their community, while supporting thousands of local Boy Scouts through pledges.

On April 17^th, the organization presented Harvey Massey of Massey Services, Inc. with the Golden Eagle Award, and our in-house Orlando video production team had the honor of encompassing Massey’s 54-year-role in Central Florida through a video shown at the dinner. Along with recognizing Massey for his tremendous achievements, the event raised over $660,000 in funds for local Boy Scout troops.

Massey has been in the service industry since the early 1960s, where he diligently worked toward becoming CEO and founder of Massey Services, Inc. in 1987. Today, Massey Services has grown to become the fifth largest pest management company in the nation and the largest privately-held family company in the industry. As a strong supporter, philanthropist and active member of our community, Massey encourages all his team members to be involved in the community and charitable organizations that need their support.

There is no doubt that Massey’s achievements are influential to the young minds of the Boy Scouts of America. Massey exemplifies that hard work and dedication to your community will pay off in the future.
