Giving Cancer the Boot at the 20th Annual Cattle Baron’s Ball

On April 6th, Appletonians put on their cowboy hats and polished their riding boots for a night in the wild west at the 20th annual Cattle Baron’s Ball. Hosted by the American Cancer Society, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has been voted the best local charity event in Central Florida. The fundraiser brings guests together for a night of western-style dancing, food and fun. This year’s cowboy event took place at Rosen Single Creek in Orlando, and featured lively entertainment, western games and gourmet cuisine from a number of Central Florida’s top chefs. As a continuous supporter of the event, Appleton sponsored it and created a heart-warming video to showcase one child’s struggle with cancer.

The Cattle Baron’s Ball is a night to celebrate the many successes of the American Cancer Society and individuals who have bucked and beaten cancer. One of these kids is Cody. Hear Cody’s story in the video we produced here:

Appleton has loved working with the Cattle Baron’s Ball to spread the word of its mission and the event over the years. In addition to producing this year’s video, Appleton designed the event’s evergreen logo and created its promotional materials.
