Orlando International Airport
About the Client
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is an award-winning international airport that has recently won two J.D. Power awards. As the largest airport in Florida and the 10th busiest airport in the country, this world-class facility continues to expand its initiatives to meet the ever-growing needs of visitors passing through Central Florida. Therefore, its branding and marketing efforts must be first-rate to exceed the needs and expectations of its stakeholders.
Since 1989, we have worked with MCO, providing award-winning marketing and advertising services from full-scale multimedia campaigns to comprehensive collateral, videos and more. From Big to Small, We Handle It All
From comprehensive financial reports with hundreds of pages to attention-grabbing community relations annual reports, there’s no project too big or too small for us to handle. With decades of annual report experience for MCO, Appleton is well-versed in communicating finances and figures to airport leadership and stakeholders.
Orlando International Airport’s South Terminal C Complex creates an unforgettable travel experience. Through a combination of passenger-centered designs and state-of-the-art technology systems and enhancements, the new complex is built to improve travel efficiency, uphold passenger safety, and excite the imagination. The complex offers direct ground access, connectivity to North Terminal and the Train Station, home to the high-speed rail service, Brightline in 2023.
Protecting the Paw-sengers
What better way to show off the hard-working K-9s of MCO than a calendar featuring these protective pooches? First, we got pup-close and personal during an onsite photo shoot, and then we designed a fetching desk calendar for stakeholders to get to know the dogs that protect the airport every day.
Houston, Prepare for Landing
MCO contains one of the only landing strips in the U.S. authorized for suborbital space craft landing, so naturally, the airport needed a promotional idea for its annual report that was out-of-this-world. We developed this space-inspired animation and a printed flip book to convey this astronomical information.
Through its $3.5 billion Capital Improvement Program (CIP), MCO is expanding with the new South Terminal Complex projected to open in 2021.
Part of this massive expansion includes the development of a highly anticipated high-speed train running from Orlando to South Florida.
No, it’s not. But it is the best way to describe an airport that has the largest number of nonstop national flights in Florida. This high-flying multimedia campaign was produced in both English and Spanish, marketing to Central Florida travelers looking to get up, up and away.
Wait, is Non-Stoppable a Word?
