About the Client

CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF) is a nonprofit focused on providing workforce development to the Central Florida region (Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole and Sumter counties). The organization serves both job seekers and employers, providing resources, skills training and more to help everyone achieve their goals. The mission of CSCF is to develop skilled talent for businesses and connect Central Floridians to careers, helping to build a strong and vibrant economy. CSCF has several career centers around the region and offers a variety of programs and services.

To help job seekers and business owners connect, CareerSource Central Florida created the Level Up Orange program. Level Up Orange is funded by Orange County and is designed to help residents find careers and businesses find employees.

It’s Time to Level Up!

CareerSource Central Florida’s Level Up Orange campaign was having trouble gaining attention from its target audience: job seekers. To help CSCF find Central Floridians interested in gaining skills and training to help them find a fulfilling career, Appleton launched a multi-platform digital marketing campaign and created an informative landing page dedicated to the program. These tactics worked in tandem to raise awareness about the program’s offerings and acquire thousands of qualified leads.

Multilingual Marketing for Central Florida’s Mosaic

Utilizing different languages in marketing collateral significantly enhances the effectiveness of reaching diverse target audiences. Central Florida boasts a rich cultural mosaic, with sizable populations of speakers of Spanish and Creole in addition to English. By incorporating all three of these languages in Level Up Orange flyers and other marketing materials, CSCF established a stronger connection with these communities. This approach broadens the reach of campaigns and enhances the likelihood of resonating with individuals who prefer to engage with content in their native language, ultimately leading to increased engagement and increased impact.

Appleton created a large landscape brochure with die cut windows on the front cover, peaking through to CareerSource Central Florida’s core values: Collaborate, Innovate, Lead. The asset artistically displays financial information while also serving as a shareable marketing asset with easily readable graphics, clean layouts and an infographic spread highlighting CSCF’s focus on high growth industries in each county.
