Fashion with a Twist: Foundation for Foster Children’s Chez Couture Fundraiser

Local foster youth and families rocked the catwalk this past Friday during the Foundation for Foster Children’s annual fundraiser, Chez Couture. The elegant daytime fashion show attracted supporters to the beautiful Maitland estate of Lara and Ziad Khoury. Appleton’s President, Diana LaRue, and VP of Marketing and Client Relations, Amy Wise, attended this year’s meaningful and enlightening event.

The FFC works to improve the lives of children in foster care by providing opportunities that nurture their ability to succeed both as individuals and contributing members of our community. Proceeds from Chez Couture go directly towards the needs of foster youth that would otherwise be unaffordable such as sports, tutoring, summer camps, and after school programs.

Appleton Creative and the FFC collaborated on several awareness initiatives including an Awareness Gallery Art Show, featuring artwork created by children in foster care, and an interactive fundraising event at Lake Eola called the Giving Tree.
