Time after time, we are blown away by some of the beautiful minds we come across here in Central Florida. And what better way to show our sincere admiration than by toasting to them and their brilliant brains! Appleton Creative’s annual Brain Crush client party celebrates our savvy guests with the help of interactive stations, mindblowing entertainment and delicious brain food. At this year’s event, through scientific observation (and educated guessing), we distinguished the creatively conceptual vs. the reasonably rational, aka the left and right sides of the brain.

On Thursday, February 22^nd, we transformed our two-story historic house into a mental match between expressive right-brainers and strategic left-brainers. Guests tested their natural intuition with interactive activities, visual diversions and analytical assessments. The house was filled with amusing games to explore inner strengths and brings together the right and left brains. In the room of Cortex Connections, guests activated their brain power into match analytical terms with their colorful expression, but that was just a warm-up. The Libation Lounge involved iPads with an app designed and programmed by Appleton. This game amused and boggled the minds even the quick-witted. The custom app allowed us to pull some interesting statistics about this year’s guests:

170 guests played the app
49% of players were more left brained!
40% of players were more right brained!
11% of players were equally left and right brained!

Although we hardly ever take brain-breaks around here, guests were always welcome to head upstairs to decompress (both sides of the brain included) in the Mental Break room and get a Psyche Snapshot to capture what their brains couldn’t remember. Guests also entered our Rest and Reflex room to put their thoughts at ease, while the Bilateral Body Art room featured body painters that helped guests express their minds through art.
