Seeing Double: We’re Triumphing in Two Award Competitions
This year has already proven to be another successful year for this repeat award-winning marketing agency. We’ve just received another round of marketing prizes, this time from Creativity International Awards and the Aster Awards.
For almost 50 years, Creativity International Awards has presented trophies to the best advertising and marketing projects across the globe based on excellent creative direction, including copywriting, typography, presentation and ease of use. This year, Appleton upheld its status as an award-winning marketing agency, once again. We are honored to have won eight awards in the Media and Interactive category after competing with entries from 26 countries, three Canadian provinces and 22 U.S. states.
Appleton’s wins for this year’s Creativity International Awards span a large breadth of work — from an in-house holiday infographic campaign to various client projects. Our comprehensive campaign for the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association won three awards alone for digital banner ads, a 30-second radio spot titled “Get Moving” and outdoor billboards. Our video production team was thrilled to learn our timeline video for Hilton Grand Vacations’ senior leadership received a Silver award. The rest of the praise goes to our graphic design, copywriting and web development team for winning awards for three different websites — each one designed with creativity, responsiveness and user experience in mind.
We were also honored to receive three Gold Aster Awards for multiple client projects. As an awards program that specializes in healthcare marketing, it can be quite challenging to win for more than one submission. But because Appleton works with numerous health-based clients, we had plenty of worthy campaigns to submit for this elite award. Each entry was judged by a panel of industry experts, and winners received another prize in addition to the award: a feature in Marketing Healthcare Today magazine.
Among the client campaigns that won are Granny NANNIES, Kids Beating Cancer and Seniors First. Our work for Granny NANNIES encompassed a total advertising campaign, including multiple branding items such as business cards and letterhead. Further work included multiple print advertisements featured in several national publications. Our second total advertising campaign winner was for Seniors First, an organization that helps seniors remain at home, rather than nursing facilities, through a network of community-based assistance. In fact, Appleton was so taken with the work Seniors First does that we became involved in the Meals on Wheels program, delivering food to seniors in need across Orlando. Additionally, we are especially proud to have won a Gold award for the website we created for Kids Beating Cancer, an organization that provides resources and support to children afflicted by cancer and their families.
