Pup Portraits, Wagging Tails and a Barking Good Time at Appleton
Appleton was overrun with canines of all types and sizes ready for their close up on Friday, August 7th. The eager dogs were filled with excitement and energy as Macbeth Photo snapped their pup portraits and rewarded their patience with chicken and beef brownies from Rick’s Dog Deli. First Fridays: Dog Days Edition was hosted by Macbeth Photo with proceeds benefiting Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Appleton Creative happily contributed the studio space to assist both of our close partners with a charitable event that would bring donations, support and awareness to a cause dear to our hearts.
As the go-to pet experts in Central Florida, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando does amazing things for dogs, cats and the people who love them. Formerly SPCA of Central Florida, the animal rescue organization’s goal is to provide compassionate and knowledgeable services for pets and their owners, and administer innovative animal care and veterinary medicine. Earlier this year, we hosted our Appleton Awareness Gallery, Finding Furever Homes, for Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Each Appletonian produced and designed heartfelt portraits of their own pets and their inspiring rescue stories to benefit the organization.
On the first Friday of every month, Macbeth Photo invites hidden gems in the Central Florida community to its social media headshot event, First Fridays. With new themes and background colors each month, First Fridays is a lively occasion that brings people together to take fun portraits and meet new, and in this case furry, friends.
