Empowering Generations: ATHENA International Leadership Women’s Luncheon
Who runs the world? Women leaders, that’s who! Yesterday, ATHENA International sponsored the Women’s Leadership Luncheon, designed to celebrate the women professionals who help bridge the gap between emerging generations. Hosted at the Grand Ballroom at Church Street, Orange County Mayor, Teresa Jacobs, guided the special event as Honorary Chair.
The afternoon luncheon gives women leaders an opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise with younger business women who are developing their careers. Attendees have a chance to participate in roundtable discussions moderated by key-players from the community.
The 2013 ATHENA Leadership Award was presented to Sandra Hostetter, President of CNLBank, Central Florida. Sponsors for the event include the University of Central Florida, Orlando Health, Bright House Networks, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and yours truly, Appleton Creative, among others.
Appleton’s Diana LaRue, Amy Wise, Kendra Haley, Kim Foran, and Katie Houser attended the luncheon. Diana sits on the governing board for the Central Florida ATHENAPowerlink chapter and, as an alummus, she understands the importance of supporting, developing and honoring women leaders in reaching their full potential. Diana acts as an advisor and mentor to new program members.
Our team partnered with ATHENA International to design key promotional pieces for the event including e-vites, a YouTube channel banner, the event program and print advertisements. To learn more about ATHENAPowerlink, visit their website at athenaorlando.com.
