It’s been a little while since we’ve bragged about our longstanding client, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, but they deserve the accolades. Take this opportunity to get an inside look at the resort’s most recent addition that sits alongside the beautiful Lake Windsong: LakeHouse Restaurant.
The premier place for luxury, relaxation and comfort, LakeHouse was designed to encompass an upscale, yet approachable atmosphere with a to-die-for menu. Naturally, being the foodies we are, we had to be part of such an innovative (and delicious) concept. Here’s why you’ll be drooling just reading about it.
Orlando’s Most Versatile Restaurant
LakeHouse combines the best of both worlds: an on-the-go, buffet-style eatery and a leisurely, full-service menu. On one side of LakeHouse, you see a self-serve spread of expertly crafted Southern comfort favorites, while the other side offers full-service dining with a dreamy menu of delectable cuisine made-to-order. Whether you have a jam-packed schedule planned for the day ahead or you’re looking to sit back, relax and enjoy some cocktails, company and conversation, LakeHouse is the perfect spot for any meal.
While the food is a beautiful sight, there’s something even more incredible to be seen outside. Whatever the occasion and wherever you’re seated, a picturesque scenery of Lake Windsong remains in plain sight from any spot in the restaurant.
The Herb Garden
The beauty of LakeHouse is exuded not only inside the restaurant, but also in the outdoor herb garden. The herb garden serves as a walk-through sanctuary that showcases the local and fresh flavors advertised on the menu. It is also home to Florida Sun Tea, which captures rays from the sun to cultivate a natural brewing process.
No matter the occasion, guests entering LakeHouse immediately feel invited to meet, sip and dine in comfort as they enjoy panoramic views of Lake Windsong. Within LakeHouse, guests can choose from four dining areas: the sunroom, kitchen, dining room and bar, each established with individual dining experiences. Action stations are also located throughout the restaurant, including a wood-fire pizza oven, seafood station and mixology demonstrations.
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: the menu. With an emphasis on locally sourced and regionally inspired cuisine, the LakeHouse chefs prepared a diverse menu for any palate, including vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians and diners who eat dairy- and gluten-free. Lunch: Grand Cypress Club “The GCC” — Open-faced, oven roasted turkey, applewood bacon, smoked gouda, vine ripe tomatoes, garlic aioli on ciabatta
Dinner: Home-Style Meatloaf — Roasted sweet potato and banana hash, grilled root vegetables, Shiraz gravy and crisp shallots
