Appletonians Get Published in the World-renowned Logo Lounge
Designing a new logo can be a frightening task, but our art directors, Jennifer Graven and Eric Czerwonka, were up for the challenge. Their hard work and craftsmanship were rewarded when their logos for InBloom Florist and Foxhole Logistics were published in Logo Lounge.
Logo Lounge is a bestselling book series that features the leading edge of identity design created by highly accomplished and noteworthy designers from around the world. The books have been used by designers for years as a source of inspiration. For each edition of their book, approximately 35,000 logos are considered by an expert panel made up of some of the most revered names in the industry and only 2,500 are selected for publication. Jennifer Graven was tasked with designing a new logo for InBloom Florist, which meant a trip to the florist owned by John and Sally Kobylinski. InBloom Florist is a renowned high-design florist in Central Florida with many shared corporate clients such as Disney, Hilton and other top 100 businesses. They design arrangements for everything from everyday celebrations to weddings and offer workshops that are perfect for a fun evening out.
Foxhole Logistics provides unique disaster response solutions for local, state and federal agencies and they do so with a high-performance track record. Eric Czerwonka needed to design a logo that showcased their expertise and accuracy. When thinking about concepts for his design, Czerwonka wanted to show movement and precision with the logo. He felt that the motion foxes make when they dive into a small spot expressed that.
