Appleton Goes to the Cinema: Henry Maldonado Film Debut

It was a dual celebration at the Enzian today during the premiere screening of Henry Maldonado’s documentary, highlighting the 2011 production of Hairspray at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Today’s event was both a celebration of the short film which gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the friendships, love, ambition, sweat and tears during the production of Hairspray, and a time to celebrate The Rep’s 10th birthday. For the last ten years, The Rep has been enlightening, entertaining and enriching the lives of families and young audiences.

Appleton’s Amy Wise and Kim Foran attended the special event and are pictured above with Henry Maldonado. The event also included a delicious complementary lunch from Enzian’s Eden Bar.
