Appleton Creative Gets Active in IOA Corporate 5k

While we prefer our apples covered in caramel, we also like them fit as a fiddle. That’s why we joined a record 18,000 runners and walkers for the 20^th Annual IOA Corporate 5k yesterday, April 17^th, 2014. It strengthened us to the core, both in terms of physical fitness and team spirit.

Accurately named Orlando’s largest office party, the Insurance Office of America’s Corporate 5k is held exclusively for Florida’s corporate community; full of camaraderie, friendly competition and celebrating with co-workers. The race was kicked off in 1994 to emphasize the importance of health and wellness in corporate culture. Proceeds from the 5k benefited the Track Shack Foundation, an organization that promotes health and fitness by funding youth athletics and sports programs through a grant application process.
