A Relaxing Way to Raise Funds for Worthy Causes: Spa Invitational 2012

On Monday, many of Central Florida’s women came together to take part in the 2012 Spa Invitational at the Peabody Orlando hotel. The event benefited the Grace Medical Home and the San Jorge Children’s Foundation. Funds for these charities were raised through the sale of event tickets, raffle tickets and silent auction items, with the grand prize winner receiving an iPad. Sponsors of the event included the Mall of Millenia, Orlando Health, Florida Hospital, and CNL to name a few.

Individuals had opportunities to meet with personal trainers, receive a skin analysis performed by facialists, and join a mini-beauty workshop. Groups of four participated in mini-facials, manicures, pedicures and massages. A gift bag full of premium spa items serves as a lovely reminder of the successful Spa Invitational. This was the second annual event to benefit these charities. We thank Sherry Magee who founded this great event.
