Kids Beating Cancer’s (KBC’s) Hats & Heroes Ball is back and better than ever for another great fundraising gala. Providing resources and support for children with cancer, leukemia and related life-threatening diseases throughout the treatment process for no cost, KBC and its Hats & Heroes Ball raise awareness and funds to support its incredible programs. This year’s theme was “Dream the Dream,” which served as a reminder to fight, hope, dream and love. The heart-warming video we shot, produced and edited can be seen below.

With selected songs in concert from Les Miserables, this year’s ball was hosted at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Complete with dancing, fine wine and cuisine, the black-tie gala was a must-attend event. Headlining was international countertenor and former member of two-time Grammy award-winning vocal group, Chanticleer, Terry Barber and his Orchestra.

Kids Beating Cancer is the only nonprofit foundation in Orlando and in the United States that provides access to potential cures through bone marrow science and stem cell transplants. Taking place at the Kids Beating Cancer Pediatric Transplant Center, the organization provides resources and care for families and children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Donations raised during the event are used to fund KBC programs and provides financial assistance to patients and their families.

KBC has endeavored to help children throughout the country for 26 years. Over several of those years, Appleton has been a proud partner of KBC by delivering nonprofit marketing services, such as website design and development and video production documenting the many stories from children within KBC’s programs and the tremendous efforts of the charity.

If this impactful organization’s work resonates with you, there are multiple ways to help. Donors can sponsor a room, shop through AmazonSmile, or get featured on the donor wall by donating a cumulative gift of $10,000 or higher. These funds go toward helping KBC reach its goal of $3 million for pediatric transplants, and to build a premier Pediatric Bone Marrow & Cellular Therapy program for Florida Hospital that will offer care for children on a local and national level.
