We’ve done it again! For nearly 50 years, top advertising and design professionals have strived for a coveted winning status at the annual Creativity International Awards. This year, our award-winning digital marketing agency brought home seven awards across a variety of categories in this season’s Media and Interactive Creativity Awards.
The 48th Creativity International Awards is a competition that honors spectacular work from creatives around the globe. Each category is evaluated on concept, design, implementation and originality. With submissions from 20 countries, four Canadian provinces and 22 states in the U.S., the competition was stiff. In fact, only 31 percent of this year’s entries won an award! We’re honored to be part of that exclusive group and proud of our hardworking creative team for demonstrating their professional abilities. You Want It, We’ll Find It
As the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association’s (ORRA) agency of record, the goal of this comprehensive campaign was to help grow the housing inventory in Central Florida. Specifically, Appleton created this concept to communicate to ORRA’s defined target audience that REALTORS® can help buyers sell their old home and find the perfect new one, no matter what it may look like. This charming concept was utilized in outdoor and digital advertising, and the award-winning fantasy-turned-reality video was featured on social media.
Along similar lines as the previous video, this energetic, upbeat Happy Dance video builds upon the theme of educating sellers of the benefits of hiring a REALTOR®. Selling their home above asking price is just one of the many advantages a REALTOR® can bring to homeowners. Happy Dance ran in movie theaters across Orlando as well as on social media, therefore winning two Creativity Awards in the in-theater commercial and social media categories. The Happy Dance digital campaign warranted a happy dance of its own with a successful click-through-rate of 1.12 percent on Facebook alone, which is 1.24 times higher than the industry average.
2018: Year of the Dog
The start of a new year meant fresh, new creative for ORRA. Capitalizing on 2018’s Year of the Dog (according to the Chinese Zodiac), we knew there was no better way to convince consumers to upsize into a new home than to feature adorable, loveable dogs and puppies that definitely needed bigger backyards. This large-scale campaign featured outdoor and digital advertising, including ads on Orlando Weekly’s website, and left a big paw print with a Facebook ad click-through-rate of 1.57 percent.
The Ultimate Infographic for I-4’s Ultimate Project
To educate Central Floridian commuters on the progress of one of Orlando’s biggest highway reconstruction projects, we developed the I-4 Ultimate infographic, which creatively details the project’s advancements and outlines key dates of completion. Each section distinctly conveys easy-to-read critical information, such as schedule, area updates, costs and facts.
25th Anniversary Hats & Heroes Ball
Each year, Kids Beating Cancer turns to Appleton to tell the story of one of its patients. This year, we created a touching video that follows two children diagnosed with aggressive forms of lymphoma and leukemia who became each other’s best friend, supporter and cheerleader. With parent and doctor testimonials intertwined with clips of the children playing, receiving treatment and smiling, viewers are taken on a journey of ups, downs, struggles and the incredible will to survive demonstrated by these brave kids.
Power Grid Engineering
Specializing in engineering design and consultation for the power systems industry, Power Grid Engineering needed a powerful, clean and modern website that dynamically displayed its services and values. Awarded for its appealing design aesthetic and intriguing programming elements, Power Grid Engineering’s new website communicates its mission, corporate structure and training opportunities effectively, and in a visually appealing way, to its target audience. Since the new website’s launch, Power Grid Engineering has seen a 46.4 percent increase in users and a 40.01 percent increase in sessions.
