I-4 is a staple for residents and travelers going to and from Orlando. To better accommodate the 1.8 million drivers who use our famous interstate daily, major improvements are underway. Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orlando recently hosted their program, “I-4: Surviving the Ultimate Improvement Project,” to explain and educate the public on the construction process. CREW welcomed Leila Jammal Nodarse, PE, Senior Client Manager at Terracon Consultants, Inc. as the moderator, and the Department of Transportation’s District Secretary Noranne Downs, PE as to speak on the topic. Appleton Creative attended this event with an I-4 infographic in-hand as a complementary resource for attendees. To view the infographic for yourself, click here.
Nodarse and Downs gave expert insight into what these changes mean for travelers. Nodarse is the Transportation Director of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) and serves on CREW’s program committee. Downs started with the Florida Department of Transportation in 1991 and has served as the District Five Secretary since 2006. As a board member for four different transportation services and the CEO of SunRail, Downs was able to give attendees a detailed description of the future of I-4.
CREW Orlando is a local chapter of the CREW Network, comprised of over 70 independent local organizations throughout the United States and Canada. The association attracts influential professionals in the real estate industry, giving members the opportunity to build and develop successful business relationships. Appleton Creative is a Gold Sponsor of CREW and redesigned their logo in 2014.
