We’ve long said that Orlando is the best place to work, play and live. And last Friday, we committed to this belief by announcing our investment in the Economic Development Commission of Metro Orlando (EDC). On Friday, Appleton Creative was introduced to members at the EDC’s Quarterly Investor Update. The event, held at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at the Universal Orlando Resort, was an opportunity for members to share strategic plans and gain feedback for future direction.
Amy Wise, Appleton Creative’s Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations, was given the opportunity to represent Appleton and our commitment to Greater Orlando’s growth. She was excited to be one of a handful of speakers at the event, which included a panel discussion on a new brand roll-out for Orlando, and information on the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) proposed new home for American Tennis in Orlando.
Why should you be an investor too? The EDC of Metro Orlando is dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s industries and creating a competitive economic climate where businesses can thrive. To meet this goal, the EDC provides key services and support, which range from relocation and expansion expertise to long-term planning with our community partners. The EDC is also devoted to helping new businesses find the perfect place to call “home” and attract, retain and grow jobs for the Metro Orlando region.
Although we work with clients all across the globe, Orlando is our home. And we look forward to being a part of her continued economic growth.
